Stronger Together: Atlanta

Atlanta is the home of PAN’s first Stronger Together initiative. Our goal was to collaborate with the local community on meaningful solutions.

Stronger Together is a PAN Foundation outreach initiative that brings together community-based organizations to identify and address healthcare access challenges in their cities. Atlanta was the first city to launch a Stronger Together task force in 2024. It set the tone for what this initiative is all about: local collaboration, lasting relationships, and community-led action.

In a city where more than two-thirds of adults have faced healthcare affordability challenges, and chronic diseases like diabetes continue to rise (sources), we knew that meaningful solutions had to start with the people most affected. That’s why we began by listening—through community surveys, listening sessions, and conversations with more than 50 local organizations.

The result is a growing network of partners working together to increase access to care, raise awareness, and build long-term infrastructure for health equity. From the Stronger Together festival to our ongoing partnerships, the work in Atlanta is just getting started—and there’s room for you to join.
